After the Tai Po fire, Hong Kong is rewriting its fire-safety law. Some of it is already in force.

What property managers ask us

Who can see our building’s records?誰可以看到我們大廈的記錄？
Only the people you invite: your staff and the contractors working on that building. Owners’ corporations get a read-only view only if you choose. We don’t sell records or share them with anyone else, apart from the providers that host the system for us under confidentiality. We delete them on request.
只有你邀請的人：你的同事及為該大廈工作的承辦商。業主立案法團只會在你同意下獲得唯讀檢視。除了在保密責任下為我們寄存系統的服務商外，我們不會出售或與任何人分享記錄，並可應要求刪除。
Do our fire contractors have to agree?我們的消防承辦商需要同意嗎？
We invite them for you and set them up for free. It also helps them: FSD now spot-checks about half of all contractors’ checklists each year, and FireLog keeps those ready.

What happens after the pilot?試用之後會怎樣？
You decide. If you continue, you get founding-partner terms. If you stop, you keep the full record and the readiness report as files. There is no automatic charge.

No. FireLog records and organises evidence of the work you and your contractors do. Your duties under the Fire Services Ordinance stay yours. What it gives you is proof, kept in one place.

Much of it is already practice: FSD’s spot checks started in August 2026, and the September booklet tells managers what to record. Starting now means a year of records already in place when the law takes effect.
